All rolling surfaces without sliding edges are equipped with an integrated edge protection profile. The conical shape of the modules, in combination with these profiles, allows for installation and use with open joints. If required, joints can be sealed using our proprietary jointing compound. This compound produces a UV- and weather-resistant, elastic joint that is hard enough to be sanded and comfortably rideable. This solution eliminates the need for rigid jointing methods, which are more complex and prone to cracking.
The copings are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection and optimized sliding performance. Each coping is fully embedded in a bed of adhesive/mortar and additionally secured within the concrete structure using steel studs. The ends are sealed with precision-machined aluminum caps.

Our stainless steel transition plates mirror the curve of the riding surface and are enclosed laterally with stainless steel. The tip of each transition plate is elastic and extends slightly below the 0.00 level. This design ensures optimal adaptation to surface irregularities and allows the plate to exert pressure without deforming the underlying asphalt. The remaining surface of the transition plate is reinforced with transverse ribs anchored to the concrete, providing high structural integrity — even in areas with very thin or no underlying concrete.
Modules with a height of 45 cm or more are equipped with lockable feet to facilitate precise height adjustment and compensate for surface unevenness. This system eliminates the need for a mortar bed and significantly simplifies future disassembly or relocation.
