Our modular concrete skate elements were developed in the 1990s. They allow for a wide variety of combinations.

In 1999, the skate elements were TÜV certified and received the GS mark (tested safety). This made them arguably the first modular concrete skate elements with both the TÜV certificate and the GS mark worldwide.

The edge protection profile we introduced, which is installed on all edges of the skateable surfaces, has also proven itself and is still used today. In addition to providing protection, this allows the skate elements to be placed side by side with or without closed joints, creating narrow joints and preventing or significantly reducing the formation of cracks at the joints.

Our Combi-Pipe (pipe with bench) was installed in the ground for the first time at the 2000 State Garden Show in Memmingen. In 2002, the first bowl with our modular skate elements was built on Gran Canaria.

Our skate elements are used at altitudes from approximately 0 m to over 1000 m above sea level. They are used from the north in Norway to the south in the Canary Islands and from the east in Romania to the west in England.

 


CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR MODULAR CONCRETE SKATE ELEMENTS

  • Modular skateboard elements made of concrete, versatile in heights of 45-60-75-98-125-149 cm, 125 cm grid (wall thickness 8 to 16 cm)
  • Pipes made of reinforced concrete (concrete) H = 150 cm (Bowl), H = 185 cm (Bowl), H = 240 cm, H = 320 cm (grid 187.5 / 250 cm)
  • TÜV certified skate elements with GS (tested safety) mark
  • Weather-resistant materials (concrete, stainless steel, galvanized steel, hard rubber)
  • Easy to set up; no foundations or ground fixings required; the surface remains undamaged (unlike with wood or steel structures)
  • Suitable for earth installation and earth modelling
  • Lockable feet for adjusting to uneven surfaces
  • Easy assembly by placing them together using a pallet truck or forklift
  • Low maintenance - no screwing or peeling of coating layers (which can lead to injuries)
  • Lowest noise compared to other constructions (wood or metal)
  • Non-slip driving surface due to absorbent surface (unsealed concrete surface) that does not become slippery when wet
  • Hard rubber edge protection (embedded in concrete lengthwise) on all sides of the driving surface (including concave surfaces)
  • Starting wedges made of stainless steel, cast in concrete (without screw connections), closed on the side
  • Continuous galvanized coping tubes with aluminum caps (slide better and do not dent); stainless steel tubes also available on request
  • Recesses in the lower area for pallet trucks or forklifts and for draining rainwater (no puddles forming at open angles of the combinations)
  • Easy dismantling, conversion or extension of systems with pallet trucks (up to H = 100cm) or forklifts (up to H = 150cm)
  • Suitable for skate, inline and BMX facilities
  • A wide variety of combinations and recombining of the elements is possible due to their modular design
  • The skate elements are designed according to DIN EN 14974 "Installations for users of roller sports equipment."
